Allow us introduce ourselves…
Andrya Naomi White, daughter of Kent and Mary, met Jesus Manuel Parra in the little town of El Porvenir in Baja California, Mexico a little over four years ago. It has since been a blur of long-distance phone calls, visa approvals, many picnic dates, and finally a ring in August of 2023.
What’s in a name…
You probably noticed that we’ve been using a new name around here. Blanco is a combination of Andrya’s maiden name and Jesus’ native language of Spanish. We’ve decided to both take this new surname, and are happy with the knowledge that our family will use a name that honors both of our stories while also acknowledging the start of a new beginning.
We are so excited to be getting married, and hope that you are able to join us to celebrate.
